Major US popstar teams up with ITV for a special one-off concert show ahead of their HUGE Australian tour

Katy Perry has teamed up with ITV for a special one-off concert show.

The American popstar, 40, will perform many of her legendary hits including Firework, Roar and I Kissed A Girl as well as special renditions from her latest album 143.

Katy Perry: Night Of A Lifetime will air later this year, with the singer filming the 90 minute special next month at the famous Central Hall Westminster in London.

The show promises to be a star-studded affair, with celebrity guests joining Katy onstage along with an A-list audience.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Katy said: ‘I am so chuffed to transform Central Hall Westminster for this very cool and cozy evening for my UK fans.

‘I can’t wait to be back in London, one of my favourite places in the world, for this up close and personal dance party of a lifetime.’

Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning ITV, added: ‘Katy is one of the world’s biggest artists, and we are thrilled she is coming to the UK to record a special exclusively for ITV and ITVX.

‘It’s set to be a memorable evening full of iconic hits we all know and love; you don’t want to miss it.’

The exciting news comes after the Roar hitmaker took to social media to announce even more shows to her ever-expanding 2025 Australian Lifetimes tour.

Last month she shared an updated image of her Down Under tour poster to Instagram.

The post revealed three new shows have been added to the itinerary, with Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne being the lucky cities to receive an extra dose of the Teenage Dream star.

The original run included just one show in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, but she has added two extra shows in Sydney and Brisbane.

After copping some backlash from Adelaide fans, Katy then added a show in the City of Churches.

Such was the demand for Katy in Adelaide, the singer was prompted to add two extra shows.

After they sold out, Katy added a fourth Adelaide date in the latest announcement.

Katy said that the new dates would be the final added to her anticipated 2025 tour.

‘I love you for life, Oz,’ Katy wrote.

And it appears that the feeling is mutual, as Katy’s Adelaide fans were quick to thank the star for giving the city so much pop love.

‘Adelaide will legit never forget this we love YOU for lifetimes,’ one fan excitedly quipped.

Adding to the sentiment, another fan chimed in with: ‘Hopefully this shows other artists that Adelaide IS A PLACE TO TOUR.’

Given Katy’s current love affair with Australia, one fan suggested she just bite the bullet and make a permanent move Down Under.

‘Babe you may as well live here at this point,’ they wrote. ‘We love you.’

Katy’s Lifetimes tour will kick off on June 9 and 10 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney before moving to Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on June 12 and 13, and 14.

She will then hit the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on June 17 and 18, then the RAC Arena in Perth on June 22 and 23.

The tour wraps up with a four night stand at the Adelaide Entertainment Center from June 26 to June 30.

The announcement comes after Katy wowed the crowd at the MCG in Melbourne during her AFL Grand Final show.

She was reportedly paid a staggering $5million to put on a pre-game performance at the final.
