- Carl Froch took to social media on Thursday to criticise a number of people
- Nakisa Bidarian had claimed that nobody knew who the former boxer was
- Journalists Ariel Helwani and Gareth A Davies were also in Froch’s firing line
Carl Froch took to social media on Thursday to take aim at a number of figures in the boxing community.
Former supper-middleweight champion Froch has never been one to shy his words and didn’t hold back as he hit out at Jake Paul’s manager Nakisa Bidarian as well as journalists Ariel Helwani and Gareth A Davies.
Froch, who has called out Paul on multiple occasions, shared a video of Bidarian asking who he is and saying that nobody has ever heard of him.
‘Four world title fights back-to-back,’ the Brit responded in his post. ‘Former unified world champion. Hall of Famer. Once boxed George Groves in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley stadium…. but don’t take my word for it, why don’t you ask one of the best fighters to ever do it, Floyd Mayweather, ask him who the cobra is.
Froch then cut to a clip of Mayweather complimenting him during an interview and labelling him a ‘hell of a champion’.
Froch quickly moved on to his next target, high-profile MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, who has recently become more and more involved in boxing.

A clip was then showen of Helwani saying Froch has been ‘begging’ for the Paul fight and adding ‘come on, Carl Froch?’
‘I don’t know where the f*** you’ve come form but you don’t know anything about boxing,’ Froch responded.
‘Stick to MMA journalism. Everything you’re saying about Jake Paul and fighting fighters ‘like me or Tony Bellew and we’re looking for a payday… I’ve already said on multiple occasions that I’ll fight him for charity. That closes that one so go on p*** off.
Next in the firing line was boxing journalist Davies.
‘And Gareth A Davies as well, talking absolute b*******,’ Froch said before a video of Davies praising Paul played.
Jake Paul’s manager Nakisa Bidarian claimed that nobody even knows who Froch is
Ariel Helwani also dismissed the idea that Froch was a big enough name to fight Paul
Gareth A Davies was full of praise for Paul and claimed that he is good for the sport of boxing
‘I’m fully behind what Jake does in boxing, I think he’s good for the sport,’ Davies said in the video.
Froch retorted: ‘great for boxing? give your head a wobble Gareth, can you kiss his a*** any more? What is happening to boxing? what is happening?
