Women from across Australia apply to find love with a male suitor on The Bachelor.

But while this season’s ladies are vying for the affection of Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins, rumours suggest two contestants have made a bond of their own.

An insider source claimed to OK! Magazine on Thursday that a lesbian romance is likely to emerge in the coming months after the series finishes airing.

‘The girls picked up on some vibes between two of the girls who became quite close off camera,’ the mystery source insisted.

Blonde contestant Romy Poulier, 29, appeared to confirm the speculation of a same-sex relationship blossoming behind the scenes.

The aspiring actress and photo shoot director told the publication: ‘I think that they kind of created a really close bond.’

During the first three episodes of The Bachelor, Nick has kissed two contestants and awkwardly rejected a third.

With three rose ceremonies under the former Wallabies star’s belt, he has already sent eight ladies packing.

It’s unclear if the two women believed to have begun a same-sex relationship are still on the show.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Channel Ten for comment.
