A-listers including Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke and Kim Basinger begin rebuilding after wildfires

Hollywood elite are preparing to rebuild their charred mansions after last year’s California wildfires that ripped through parts of Malibu, DailyMailTV can reveal.

Aerial images reveal empty plots where the homes of Kim Basinger, Robin Thicke, Camille Grammer and Neil Young once stood.

Meanwhile, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus’ estate still lies in ruins after the fires – but her music studio remained completely unscathed.

As the only part of the property made of brick, the 26-year-old singer’s studio survived while the rest of the estate – including their beloved animal shelter – was destroyed. The $2.5million four-bedroom brick property Cyrus bought next door to her husband also survived the fire.

Seven months after California’s fiercest ever blaze, the devastated coastal city is slowly making a recovery, DailyMailTV can reveal.

Meanwhile, actress Kim Basinger has already demolished the incinerated parts of her property and leveled the ground in preparation for a rebuild.

Exclusive images reveal Neil Young’s devastated property high in the Malibu mountainside for the first time.

The legendary singer bought the 17.6acre, 1920s wooden former hunter’s cabin from wife Darryl Hannah for $3.6million in 2016 and it enjoyed a secluded location surrounded by trees.

Now all that remains is the charred supporting posts and wooden beams of the main house, a stone ‘peace circle’ next to the entrance and a pebbled rockery.

Camille Grammer, ex-wife of Cheers star Kelsey, told her social media followers that her property would have to be demolished after the blaze, and as our snaps show, it’s now been razed to the ground and the debris cleared.

Although the stars lost their luxury multi-million dollar mansions, some parts of their estates somehow escaped any damage.

The back part of Grammer’s home still has a perfectly green stepped lawn and shrubbery area, which leads down to a garden relaxation area and trampoline.

Signer Robin Thicke’s children’s play area stayed untouched while the singer and his neighbor’s properties were incinerated.

In Kim Basinger’s case, the outdoor wooden tables and chairs remained, sitting in the garden as if nothing has happened.

While a number of celebrities saw their properties ruined, others can count their blessings. Silence of the Lambs actor Anthony Hopkins’s red-tiled seafront cottage stayed in one piece, but three lined along the same cliff edge burnt down including his next-door neighbor.

Liam’s brother, actor Luke Hemsworth, also survived a scare as his mansion escaped unscathed, while the properties next-door and opposite both didn’t survive.

Much has been made of all the celebrities losing their homes, yet whole streets were also wrecked by the devastating fires, as seen in the images.

The 2018 California wildfires marked the deadliest and most destructive in California history. The Woolsey Fire ignited on November 8 and blazed until November 21.

It razed through over 96,000 acres of land and killed three people.

The fires destroyed 1,643 homes and buildings and caused more than 295,000 people to evacuate their hillside homes.
