An A Place In The Sun buyer stopped a property tour just minutes in during an awkward moment on Monday’s instalment of the Channel 4 show.

The latest installment of the lifestyle TV series saw property expert Jasmine Harman try and find Richard his perfect property in the coastal town of Sitges in Spain.

Richard, who was joined by his pal Peter on the programme, had a budget of £210,000 for his dream home in the sunshine.

Although things got off to a good start, when it came to the fourth property, it was very clear that Richard wasn’t impressed.

As they went onto the balcony, Jasmine proudly said: ‘So up here, mountain views to that side, sea views to that side.’

Richard said: ‘The sea view – it’s great to have a sea view.’

However things took a quick turn.

Peter chimed in: ‘It’s got the sea view but it shows that the sea view maybe isn’t everything.

‘I cant see beyond what I know is downstairs. It’s certainly not Richard.’

Jasmine asked: ‘Do you two want to go and see the rest?’

Richard brutally said: ‘I think I’ve seen enough…

‘I think that this property isn’t for me.’

Jasmine replied: ‘Shall we wrap up here if it’s not the one for you?

‘Let’s head back down to the car.’

‘It’s horrible from the outside,’ a third wrote.

A fourth pointed out: ‘This search started well and has gone steadily downhill since.’

A fifth added: ‘Nope. Next.’

It comes after other viewers were left worried over Ben Hillman’s safety after he nearly brought a guest to tears last week.

Deb and Steve were on the hunt of a house in Roquetas de Mar in Almeria Province, Spain.

Ben and Deb appeared to clash at the start of the episode, and continued to when she was brought to a house she didn’t like.

All four properties failed to impress the guest.

Viewers watching at home shared their concern on X after such an unsuccessful episode.

One wrote: ‘If there’s no contenders, do they still get the orange juice?? Ben will need something a lot stronger!! #aplaceinthesun’.
