Since launching in the U.S. the formula of the stateside balm is slightly different than the original as the brand boasts that the new formula has an ‘upgraded ingredient formulation to create better skin condition.’

Aside from papaya, other major ingredients in the balm are all herbal including: hot springs water, Vitamin E and the brand’s Zero Balance Technology which is a mixture of acerola, rooibos, bamboo and Angelica extracts, ‘to replenish, firm, purify and soothe against stress and air pollutants.’

The budget-friendly $9 Mario Badescu product has been dubbed a ‘miracle worker’ by thousands, with the likes of Kylie Jenner, Bella Hadid and beauty YouTuber Nikkie Tutorials endorsing it publicly.
According to beauty site, Mecca, the company sells 6,000 bottles of the spray per month and staff describe it as ‘super-charged hydration in a bottle.’

People use the spray in combination with their day and night creams for a boost of hydration or use it to set make up while others even use it to spray on dry hair throughout the day.
