Aaron Carter went on a bizarre Twitter rant on Thursday evening following reports police performed a welfare check after allegedly receiving a report from a family member who feared he was suicidal.

Authorities went to the 31-year-old singer’s home in Lancaster, California on Wednesday, TMZ reports.

It has since emerged an assault was reported at the same home five days earlier on August 2, according to Radar Online.

Following the reports Carter tweeted: ‘You want an exclusive….. dm me.’

He later added: ‘I got this. I’m tough. The truth will come out. I’m not afraid of my truth, can you say the same?’

Carter posted an hour later to say: ‘Going to war with me is like going to war with Troy, and I’m Achilles.

‘I don’t trust females who post more memes than selfies.

‘Where is my ARMY at? I never gave up on you. Where are you when I need you the most. When you need me I’m always there. This is a cult and we are family. It’s about my talent. My dedication. My work ethics. My health and prosperity.

‘Let the battles begin. Like I said. The truth is coming out. Especially when it’s not my mugshot you’ll be seeing.’

He also seemed to take aim at his ex Lina, writing: ‘The last one is going to be very sorry….. you had a chance.’

And he also appeared to get into a spat with YouTuber Trisha Paytas before calling her a ‘sweet person’.

The family member who called police claimed that Carter had made some troubling comments last week around the time news emerged that he had broken up with girlfriend Lina Valentina.

Sources say the family member was concerned Carter had been doing drugs and was at risk of overdosing.

They reportedly feared he was going to take his own life or harm someone else.

Police went to the home but found that everything was okay regarding Carter.

Sources linked to the singer claim his ex-girlfriend, a Russian artist, may be responsible for calling police.

They said Valentina had been living at Carter’s home despite them breaking up.

Sources say she was angry when he apparently asked her to leave on Wednesday.

Carter is now threatening legal action if Valentina doesn’t want an amicable break up, according to his attorney.

The pair confirmed on social media that they were in a relationship last September.

In a statement announcing their split, Carter said he was really hoping their relationship would ‘be the one that lasted forever’.

‘We had even talked about having kids, but we couldn’t seem to get past our differences and the relationship eventually turned unhealthy. I’ve been through so much the past few years and am trying to learn from my mistakes,’ he said.

Earlier this week, Carter was forced to deny allegations he was trying to sell an English Bulldog rescue dog for $3,500.

‘With all due respect I own a home I make over $3 million a year I don’t need to sell a dog for money so have some respect and don’t try to slander my name because I will defend myself and I will take legal action,’ he said.
