The Sooner or Later singer told the court that Valentina ‘carries a knife with her,’ ‘has threatened to stab [him]’ and on July 30, punched him in the face, The Blast reported this week.

Carter also asked the court to order Valentina be ordered out of his Lancaster home he resides in, but it was a moot point as she isn’t listed as a resident.

She’s due in court September 3 for a hearing in which the restraining order could be made permanent.

Carter issued a statement earlier this month indicating that he and Valentina had ‘decided to go our separate ways,’ as they ‘couldn’t seem to get past [their] differences and the relationship eventually turned unhealthy.’
