Yankees slugger Aaron Judge is set to miss at least one more game after hurting his right big toe on Saturday, according to manager Aaron Boone.

Judge injured the toe when it struck the concrete base of the outfield fence as he ran through the wall to the bullpen while making a spectacular grab against the Dodgers.

He was expected to undergo test on Monday to determine how much time he may be required to miss, but as of early Tuesday afternoon no diagnosis had been announced.

While speaking on Sunday Judge didn’t rule out the possibility that the toe was broken.

‘If I’m on [the injured list], I’m on it. But I’m trying not to be. Who knows?’ Judge said. ‘I’ve got no answer yet.’

While speaking Tuesday Boone stated that Judge had been doing better and would meet with doctors later on in the day to determine a course of action.

Pitcher Gerrit Cole clammed the concrete ledge at the footing of the wall as ‘kind of dangerous,’ following the game Saturday.

Boone hoped it would be something MLB or the Dodgers organization would examine for future safety concerns.

‘Hopefully that is something that they look into,’ Boone said. ‘I think all these places try to do their best to make things as safe as possible.’

‘But to me, it seems like that cement at the bottom could be padded up a little bit. Hopefully it is something they at least look into and consider, which I’m sure they will.’
