Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch argue about allowing their cats in the bedroom in latest podcast

Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch have taken to the podcast to discuss allowing their pet cats in the bedroom.

The model, 37 and the former footballer, 41, have their own podcast, The Therapy Crouch, where they discuss their marriage together.

Peter began by raising a gripe with his wife, saying: ‘It’s not necessarily about you, but it’s about your organisation of the room.’

A shocked Abbey replied: ‘Excuse me, sorry. I just need to stop you right there. I spend my life organising things.’

Peter explained: ‘Yeah but you’ve let yourself down on this occasion. Just because it’s the cats. It’s that the cats are in our bedroom.

Abbey interrupted: 'I would never have sex in front of our cat. Let's just put that out there'

‘The dog’s downstairs, I get that. But you’ve put like a litter tray and food and water in our bedroom.

‘So you know whatever happens in our bedroom, you know if I’m relaxing, in the bath, sleeping… There might be the odd occasion where you know things may progress…’

Abbey cut in to joke: ‘We’re bonking to a beat.’

Peter continued: ‘Well it always seems to be like when you’re doing any of those things, I hear the rustling of stones…’

Abbey interrupted: ‘I would never have sex in front of our cat. Let’s just put that out there.’

Peter shot back: ‘Is that why you put them in the bedroom?’

Abbey laughed and replied: ‘Yes!’

Peter then added: ‘Honestly, every time you hear the rustling of stones and you just think to yourself, cat’s having a s***.’

It comes after the couple spoiled their eldest daughter Sophia with a sweet birthday celebration on Tuesday.

Proud mum Abbey shared a video of the couple and Sophia’s siblings Liberty, seven, and son Johnny, four and two-year-old son Jack singing happy birthday as they surprised her with cake.

The model also shared a sweet snap of Sophia surrounded by balloons and her birthday presents before she headed off to school.

A Selfridges bag and other goodies could be seen in the snap alongside a gold balloon display and the rainbow-coloured cake.

‘I love you baby girl’ Abbey gushed in the caption.

Abbey and Peter discussed renewing their wedding vows as they appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show on Friday.

The model, 37, told how she and the former footballer, 41, recently renewed their wedding vows on a beach in the Maldives over Christmas.

Abbey revealed: ‘We wanted to renew our vows at 10 years, but we were in lockdown. The kids were there.

‘We didn’t have any kids at our first wedding, so it was nice for them to be involved.

‘It was supposed to be on a certain day, but it was the World Cup Final. So, [Pete] said: “I’m not marrying you again on the day of the World Cup Final’. So we had to change the day.”

On his involvement in the wedding planning, Peter explained: ‘After 10 years, I wanted to do something special because she puts up with us and the kids. She runs the household, so I wanted to do something.’

The ceremony took place on December 17 in front of their four children, Abbey’s mum Karen and friends on a private island at the Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort.

The Liverpudlian wore a stunning sheer vintage lace dress and veil made by her dressmaker friend Silvia, with the former footballer Peter saying he got ‘butterflies’ when he saw his wife walk down the aisle.
