Channel Seven presenter Abbey Gelmi announced her engagement to former AFL star Kane Lambert ahead of the 2023 Brownlow Medal on Monday night.

The glamorous WAG, 32, shared the exciting news by posting a gallery of photos to Instagram while getting ready for the coveted awards ceremony.

One precious photo captures a glammed up looking Abbey waving her hand towards the camera to reveal the eye-popping diamond engagement ring on her finger.

The raven-haired beauty can’t wipe the smile off her face in the heartwarming snap which captures her rocking her best angles while showcasing the eye-popping ring. 

Many of Abbey’s celebrity friends and fans were quick to notice and comment on the huge ring.

‘Congratulations on the engagement my love. Also, slay that Brownlow look,’ gushed model Nikki Phillips.

‘I’m just waiting for everyone to notice the ring,’ joked Nathan Broad’s wife Tayla.

Abbey first sparked rumours she was dating the recently retired Richmond star, 31, in May 2021. 

The pair reportedly attended Sam Mac’s book launch in Melbourne together at the time, and are said to have been introduced by Love Island’s Tayla Broad.

The Daily Telegraph reported the pair began dating after Abbey made the move from Melbourne to Sydney.

The lovebirds welcomed their first child in March.

Abbey shared the happy news to Instagram, alongside a black and white photo of her cradling the newborn in hospital.

‘Louis James Lambert came into the world 8.3.23,’ wrote Abbey beside the image.
