Abbie Chatfield BLASTS a fan who asked why she wasn’t posting about politics in the lead-up to the election: ‘I speak about it literally every day’

Abbie Chatfield lost her cool with an Instagram follower on Wednesday after they asked why she wasn’t posting content about the federal election.

The radio and podcast host, 26, blasted the fan in a series of foul-mouthed videos, telling them to ‘google me’ to see everything she’s said about politics in the past.

Abbie said she ‘spends literally all day every day speaking about f**king political topics’ and told the follower to bother someone else instead.

Sharing a screenshot of the direct message she’d received on Instagram, Abbie fired up against the follower on her Stories.

‘Don’t spend your time DM-ing me – who spends literally all day every day speaking about f**king political topics while in the middle of a tour in which we talk about political topics,’ she said.

‘Go and DM [someone else], I can name a few names but I’m not going to!’

She added: ‘Go and DM any aesthetic influencer or reality person that you think should do more more that has never spoken about vaccines or Scott Morrison. You don’t understand how it f**king works.

‘This is so f**king funny. Go and look up anything I said in the last two years… stop DM-ing me saying I need to do more. I’ve done enough!’

Abbie also said she shouldn’t be obliged to promote Anthony Albanese’s Labor Party because she intends to vote for the Greens.

‘I’ve been posting about the [ABC’s] Vote Compass very regularly. I’m not saying vote Labor; I’m saying vote Greens!’ she stressed.

Abbie last month urged her followers to push ‘incompetent’ Prime Minister Scott Morrison out of office in the federal election.

‘If you vote Liberal, you’re a loser and I would never be your friend!’ she said.

‘Your vote does count, and our planet will die, minorities will continue to be harshly discriminated against (unfortunately this happens regardless, but more so with right-wing leadership) and huge companies will continue to be taxed s**t all.’

‘This election is important. Please don’t use the excuse that “all politicians are bad” because right now the country is run by a completely incompetent dips**t, we need to get rid of him however we can,’ she added.

Abbie’s election commentary comes several months after she encouraged teenagers to get vaccinated against Covid behind their parents’ backs if necessary.

She wrote on Instagram: ‘Friendly reminder that in [Australia] if you’re over 14 you can get a Medicare card and go to the doc yourself.’

She said that in addition to getting vaccinated, sexually active teens could also source their own prescription for the birth control pill.

This advice drew the ire of one furious Aussie mum, who direct messaged her: ‘Stupid f**ken person you are!

‘You are telling YOUNG KIDS 13-14 year olds to go get the jab behind their parents back? ‘You F**KEN LOSER!!!!! You obviously don’t have kids! What the f**k is wrong with you.’
