Abbie Chatfield warns reality stars not to quit their day jobs – as she continues her incredible career ascent with a new role as a Myer ambassador

Abbie Chatfield’s career has gone from strength to strength since she starred on The Bachelor in 2019.

But while the 26-year-old seems to have effortlessly parlayed her TV appearances into a bustling media career, she warns other reality stars not to quit their day jobs.

‘I was a villain, there’s no denying that. So I kept my nine-to-five, full-time job for six months after the show,’ she told Adelaide Now on Friday.

‘No one should quit their job after the show – give it a few months’ Abbie Chatfield said on Friday in reference to her fellow reality stars. The radio host (pictured) rose to fame on The Bachelor and has built an impressive career since

‘No one should quit their job after the show – give it a few months. But ever since, it has been one thing after the other when it comes to work.’

Abbie says she is so busy that she has gotten over 100 text messages since 2019 which she hasn’t had time to read.

It comes as the radio host is unveiled as a new Myer ambassador – she will star in a denim clothing campaign, set to launch next week, for the department store.

Abbie’s career could be reaching yet another another high – according to a new report, she could take over the helm at Love Island Australia, and replace the current host, Sophie Monk, 42.

‘An interesting rumour was rumbling last week – that if the show returns Abbie Chatfield might be in the hosting hot seat rather than Australia’s resident TV bombshell Sophie Monk,’ the Herald Sun claimed.

Abbie is already the host of the Love Island’s Afterparty series – her first foray into a hosting TV show.
