Abby Lee Miller’s taste of freedom: Dance Moms star tucks into meal after losing 100lbs in jail

She shed 100 pounds during her time at the Federal Correction Complex in Victorville, California.

And one day after getting released early, Abby Lee Miller chowed down on a meal with a large iced tea at her halfway house in Los Angeles.

The 51-year-old Dance Moms star, who served timed for money laundering, kept it casual on Wednesday in a loose T-shirt with a napkin tucked into her neckline.

The reality star seemed to enjoy her meal immensely, which she washed down with her large refreshment. 

Abby will complete her the rest of her sentence at the halfway house; TMZ reported that she will be released May 25. 

The star has been in prison since July 2017.

After she was released from prison on Tuesday, she checked into the halfway house later that day.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the star underwent gastric bypass surgery in April before her prison term; she lost 100 since her incarceration.

The website reports that she plans on going forward with excess skin removal surgery, a breast lift and a tummy tuck.  

Abby was spotted on Wednesday, hours after her release, showing off her weight loss while at the halfway house.

Miller, 51, paired her loose fitting ensemble with white calf-length socks and black slides; she wore her locks casually in an updo. 

She was sentenced to 366 days for hiding $775,500 worth of income and bringing $120,000 in Australian currency to the US without reporting it. 

Miller had filed for bankruptcy after defaulting on a Florida condominium mortgage and a mortgage on her Abby Lee Dance Company studio in Penn Hills, a Pittsburgh suburb.

According to Us Weekly, she must report to the federal judicial district’s probation office within 72 hours of release.

Once there, Miller will receive instructions on how to report to her probation officer as well as rules about her release, living arrangements and full-time employment.  

Court documents from Miller’s case, obtained by Us Weekly, read: ‘You must refrain from any unlawful use of a controlled substance. You must submit to one drug test within 15 days of release from imprisonment and at least two periodic drug tests thereafter, as determined by the court. 

According to the magazine, during her supervised prison release, she cannot interact with anyone she knows ‘is engaged in criminal activity, she can’t be arrested and can’t ‘pose a risk to another person or organization.’

Abby is forbidden from possessing a firearm or weapon and must report any change of address while her fine remains. 

She was supposed to get released early from prison on February 20 but it got pushed back. 

Her prison consultant and coach Jennifer Myers revealed that the reason why is due to a protocol shift for the Bureau Of Prisons, according to Entertainment Tonight. 

Jennifer explained that stricter budgeting from the Bureau Of Prisons caused the delay – after too many women were released at the time.
