British actress Emmy Tayler is ‘completely shocked and distraught’ after being accused of being part of Jeffrey Epstein’s inner circle by alleged victim of the paedophile, relative says

A British actress has been left ‘completely shocked’ at the suggestion that she was part of paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s inner circle.

In the early 2000s Oxford-born Emmy Tayler worked as a PA to Ghislaine Maxwell and is alleged to have sought out young women for Epstein.

According to U.S court documents, one alleged victim has said that Tayler instructed her on how to massage him at his Florida mansion.

Johanna Sjoberg also claimed that Tayler introduced Prince Andrew to Epstein and referred to her as her ‘slave’.

However, the actress, who starred in The Water’s Edge and Bon Appetit is said to be ‘distraught’ about the claims.

Speaking to The Mirror, Tayler’s brother-in-law Stephen Ongpin said: ‘She’s been accused of things which are completely shocking to her. She worked for Ghislaine as a PA but that was in 2001. She’s distraught by the whole thing.’

He added that he believed that Tayler knew nothing of Epstein’s sex ring.

Last month it had been reported that lawyers in the U.S wanted to speak to Tayler, but her lawyers have not yet been contacted.

Tayler is said to have met PA Maxwell in New York after travelling to the U.S to further her career.

It is claimed that Tayler flew on Epstein’s ‘Lolita Express’ at the same time he was alleged to have been trafficking girls.

This is while Maxwell denies that she was at the centre of Epstein’s sex ring operation.

Epstein killed himself in jail last month whilst awaiting trial. Prince Andrew has admitted knowing the 66-year-old but denied witnessing ‘any behaviour of the sort that subsequently led to his arrest and conviction’.

In August, in light of the pedophile’s arrest on human trafficking charges, an appeals court ordered that any pages of the case files which represented public interest should no longer be kept secret. 

Around 2,000 have been released but thousands more are still under lock and key.

Some of his victims, say his death is suspicious because he was too egotistical to commit suicide and likely thought that he would beat the charges.   

Since his arrest in July, questions of who he may drag down with him have been abundant. 

Some critics say he was protected for years by his vast network of impressive politicians, billionaires and celebrity friends.
