Isabelle Cornish sensationally quit SAS Australia during Wednesday’s episode, after suffering a painful leg injury.

The 27-year-old actress was assessed by the show’s medic, who told her that she had clearly injured her right leg.

‘There’s an injury here, Izzy. You don’t need me to tell you that. It’s not to the point where I would feel I needed to say, “Hey, don’t keep pushing this.” But there are no guarantees,’ he told her.

Aside from her injured leg, Isabelle said she still felt ‘100 per cent capable’, but decided not to take any risks.

‘You know, if your mind still wants to go and your body gives up, I think it’s a harder bullet to bite,’ she admitted.

After returning to the dormitory, Isabelle told fellow recruit Koby Abberton she’d decided to quit, asking him to walk her out.

But Billy, 55, was reluctant to let her go, and told Isabelle she’d come to regret her decision later on.

‘Stop. Your leg’s sore, so what? You’ve done phenomenal, but you haven’t reached your potential. Think about it,’ he told her.

Billy admitted he was disappointed in her decision, and told Isabelle that he thought she still had ‘a lot more left’.

‘You will regret this, I’m telling ya. But well done,’ Billy told her.
