Adele was referring to the court verdict that found Say It singer Tory Lanez, 30, guilty Friday of shooting Megan, whose real name is Megan Pete, in July 2020, during an argument after a party at Kylie Jenner’s home in the Hollywood Hills.

The Body artist admitted she was hurt because of pushback against her in the hip hop community, which included the song, Circo Loco, by Drake.

‘I wish he would’ve just shot and killed me if I knew I was going to have to go through this torture,’ she testified according to the Los Angeles Times.

Megan also testified she was hesitant to tell police about the incident, which happened at the same time as the Black Lives Matter marches.
