A mother has gone viral on TikTok with a video showing how her eight-month-old sons refuse to sleep unless they are in the same bed.
Mother Brenna Grund, 27, of Minnesota, explained twins Lane and Lennox struggle to settle when they are placed in separate cribs in the nursery.
A clip shows how the two babies scream until they’re red in the face when they’re left to sleep alone and only quieten down once Brenna brings them back together.
Brenna said: ‘My heart broke separating them so I took them out after a few minutes of not calming down and put them in bed next to each other and they fell asleep within two minutes.’
The practice is not recommended the American Association of Pediatrics, which says bed-sharing between siblings should be avoided.

The eight-month-old brothers cannot sleep without one another, and only settle once they are reunited
Brenna, a mother-of-four who shares family life with her 56,000 TikTok followers, spoke of the bond her two youngest sons share.
She said: ‘It’s very soothing and calming for them to cuddle each other, hold hands, and it’s just something that they are used to.
‘I can’t say it enough, their bond is something only a twin can understand. It’s so incredible as their mom to watch.’
The mother-of-four also said she doesn’t believe in ‘crying it out,’ meaning she doesn’t want to leave her children crying in their room alone. In order to help them settle quicker, she places the twins in together.

Brenna said it is ‘heartbreaking’ for her to separate her twins boys, and said she’ll let them sleep together until they are older
Brenna, who posts videos of the twins on the social media platform under the name MomtotheGrundTwins, has been candid about life with the twins.
The pair spent 20 days in the NICU after they were born, and suffered from colic.
They also went through an operation to have their tongue and lips ties cut, contracted Covid-19 and suffered from several colds and ear infections.
But doting mother Brenna has also shared countless adorable videos of her sons, who she calls ‘Chubbies,’ playing with each other or alone, and enjoying some cuddling time with their mother.
The American Association of Pediatrics said in a 2012 report that bed-sharing did nothing to prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) or suffocation.
‘As a result, the AAP does not recommend any specific bed-sharing situation as safe; some bed-sharing situations should be avoided at all times,’ the research concluded.
‘For example, twins, triplets, and higher-number infant groups should have separate sleep areas and not be bedded together.

A third added: ‘My twins don’t sleep together because they always wake each other up…. BUT if they slept better together I 100% would support it! Do whatever works!’
A fourth wrote: ‘My twins are total opposite. They have a connection but definitely can’t stand sleeping together at all.’
