His long blond mullet has become a fixture of his larger-than-life public image.

But AFL superstar Bailey Smith had his famous ‘business at the front, party in the back’ locks groomed by fellow Bulldogs player Toby McLean on Wednesday.

Smith, 21, shared a photo to Instagram of himself sitting in front of a bathroom mirror in the Bulldogs’ changeroom as McLean straightened his unruly hair.

‘Tidy up,’ the midfielder captioned the post as he tagged McLean, 26, in the photo.

Bailey pulled a face in the mirror and displayed the peace sign with both hands as his wet hair and muscled upper back could be seen in the foreground of the image.

Last Saturday, Smith had some choice words about his trademark mullet during a fashion campaign for Cotton On.
