The Brownlow Medal Count is a night where the Australian Football League’s biggest and brightest stars are acknowledged for the their prowess on the field. 

But on Monday night, it was their wives and girlfriends (WAGS) who commanded attention on the red carpet.

Some of AFL’s biggest names including Trent Cotchin, Chris Judd, Jason Johannisen and Alex Pendlebury were left awkwardly standing to one side as their glamorous partners posed front and centre on the red carpet.

He took a fashion risk in a wearing a black and white tartan suit, but it was his girlfriend’s over-the-top white feathered Con Ilio dress that raised eyebrows.
