Baby joy! AFLW star Moana Hope announces she is expecting her first child with fiancée Isabella Carlstrom after searching for a sperm donor

AFL Women’s star Moana Hope has announced she is expecting her first child with fiancée Isabella Carlstrom.

During an appearance on Wednesday’s The Morning Show, the 31-year-old shared their happy news when asked how their wedding planning is going.

‘Bella is organising our wedding, which we’re excited for. And also, our baby at the end of the year!’ gushed Moana alongside her sister Vinny.

Moana kept tight-lipped on any further details of their baby joy.

Last year, the couple revealed that Swedish-born mode Isabella would be carrying their first two children as they started searching for a sperm donor.

‘I plan to play footy for another 10 years because I love football, so a couple from Bell and I’ll definitely be having one too,’ Moana told the Herald Sun in September.

‘My greatest dream in life is to have a family, and who better to have a family with?’

In October, Isabella dropped down on one knee and asked Moana to marry her at the sport star’s father’s graveside.

‘I told [Isabella] that if she ever wanted to marry me she had to ask my dad,’ wrote Moana on Instagram at the time.

‘So she asked me to marry her at my dad’s tombstone, so he was there when she asked me. It could never, ever get anymore perfect than this… I said yes.’

Moana appeared on Sunday’s The Morning Show alongside sister Vinny, who lives with a rare neurological syndrome.

The siblings are fighting to save Vinny’s support program that is set to shut its doors this year, and appeared on the show to raise awareness.

The Bridges program in Pascoe Vale, north Melbourne, has taught adults with mild-to-severe intellectual disabilities basic life skills since 1992.

Moana was recently told the group ‘could not continue under a new National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding model’, as reported by ABC.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Moana’s rep for comment.
