AFP ‘offer Bachelor Matt Agnew a job’ after his sleuthing to find out who called him a pig

Bachelor fans were aghast on Wednesday night when it was alleged by Abbie Chatfield that Monique Morely had called Matt Agnew a ‘disrespectful pig’ and a ‘dog c*nt’.

A shocked Matt quickly investigated the claims, interviewing numerous young women on the reality show in a bid to find out if the allegations were true.

And it appears that Matt’s super sleuthing has impressed the Australian Federal Police, with the organisation taking to Twitter to ‘invite’ the star to join the crime-fighting agency on Thursday.

Bound for a police badge? The Australian Federal Police took to Twitter to ‘offer Bachelor Matt Agnew a job’ on Thursday, after the star’s master sleuthing during the infamous C-bomb scandal on the reality show this week

The AFP tweet read: ‘Matt – if the career in astrophysics/data analytics does and finding eternal love doesn’t pan out, we’d be happy to help you with your detective skills.’

The added: ‘Register your interest to join AFP anytime!’

The AFP, which is headed by Andrew Colvin, was of course joking, but it does show just how far-reaching this week’s Bachelor scandal has been.

Monique was finally sent packing on Thursday’s episode of The Bachelor.

Before the 26-year-old got the boot, Bachelor Matt pulled her aside at the cocktail party to confront her for allegedly calling him a ‘dog c**t’.

The C-bomb scandal first emerged on Wednesday’s episode, when Abbie told Matt that Monique had used the disgusting slur during an off-camera poolside conversation with the other women.

Matt then set about finding out if the disturbing claims were true, tracking down witnesses to the alleged comments and following up other lines of inquiry.

Lingerie designer Monique repeatedly denied making the remarks when confronted by Matt on Thursday – which frustrated the handsome astrophysicist no end.

‘I mean, for me that sounds like a real cop-out,’ he snapped.

‘Trust is such an integral part of a relationship,’ he continued. ‘But now, as far as I’m concerned, the trust is severely damaged, and I’m trying to understand how exactly we move past that.’

'You don't want me to be here anymore?' The 26-year-old received her marching orders from Matt during a tense conversation

‘Yeah, look, like, you don’t need to believe me,’ responded Monique, who continued to claim that she couldn’t remember making the vulgar remark.

‘I can’t do that anymore,’ said Matt, who had clearly reached the end of his rope.

‘I’m just not sure how exactly things move forward for us, Mon,’ he added.

Shocked, the blonde bombshell said: ‘You don’t want me to be here anymore?’

‘Yeah, I think it’s for the best that you leave the mansion… I’ll walk you to the car,’ Matt said sternly.

After getting the boot, Monique unleashed on rival Abbie as she was driven away from the mansion.

‘I betcha Abbie will start crying, play the victim card,’ Monique seethed from the backseat.

‘She is just so messed up, on like, so many levels. I just hope she gets help. Grows out of it, maybe. Who knows. There is no point in reasoning with an idiot.’

Back at the mansion, fan favourite Vakoo Kauapirura was sent home during the rose ceremony following an awkward one-on-one date with Matt earlier in the episode.

The Bachelor continues on Channel 10 on Wednesday at 7:30pm
