The group allegedly smashed a window, forced a door open, dragged a woman from the car and repeatedly punched and kicked a man.

One of the men then allegedly snatched the keys to the other car and stole it before the other four fled the scene.

A 22-year-old man was arrested by detectives at 9am on Thursday, and will face Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.

The accused was charged with two counts of robbery and one count each of unlawful entry of a vehicle, attempted robbery and common assault.

He was also charged with one count each of willful damage, robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Police are still searching for the remaining alleged offenders and the second car, a white 2012 Honda Civic with Queensland registration 312TOO.

The other men believed to have been involved in the incident are the subject of a police manhunt, and are described as African in appearance.

One was wearing a white shirt, another was wearing a red shirt or jacket, one was shirtless and another was wearing red shoes.

The CCTV footage shows two trucks entering the car park at 3:42 and 3:43, causing the alleged offenders to momentarily retreat.

Police would like to speak to the drivers of the trucks, who they say were likely unaware an alleged crime was in progress.
