Succession season 4 reveals the CEO of the Waystar Royco company, the episode is available to watch on UK streaming platforms

What is Succession about?

Created by Jesse Armstrong, the series follows the prolific Roy family, owners of Waystar Royco, one of the biggest media conglomerates in the world.

As the CEO Logan Roy, played by Bryan Cox, steps down from the business due to health issues, his children compete to take his place.

The finale ‘With Open Eyes’ finally crowns Logan’s successor, revealing who will take over as CEO.

The satirical drama is thought to have been inspired by the Murdoch Family, as the series includes similarities between Rupert Murdoch and his children.

However, Armstrong told the New York Times in 2019 various media tycoons shaped the series including the Mercers and the Redstone’s.
