Air Asia launches massive sale with $199 return flights to Australia from Spain

  • Cheap flights from Sydney to Madrid are available from midday on Saturday
  • Budget airline Air Asia  announced the price drop to celebrate the Davis Cup 
  • Booking dates will be available from November 16 until the end of March 2020 

Air Asia is offering return flights from Spain for as little as $199. 

The company launched the promotion to celebrate its partnership with the Davis Cup tennis tournament in Spain. 

Cheap flights from Sydney to Madrid  are available from midday on Saturday, November 16 with booking dates from now until the end of March 2020.

Madrid is also famously known for its museums, art galleries, food, nightlife, and historic squares and palaces.  

Air Asia said there were hundreds of cheap flights to Madrid available but for customers who miss out on the deal, a secondary promotional all-in fares at $399 will be available.

The bargain flights come after Air Asia announced a partnership with the online travel agency, Kiwi.com. 

Their partnership aims to provide customers with flights to Europe, New Zealand, the Middle East and the US. 

Air Asia CEO, Tony Fernandes, said the launch of their partnership with Kiwi.com was ‘an unbelievable day.’  

‘Today, with the help of Kiwi.com, we are reinventing ourselves as more than just an airline, bringing to life our vision for airasia.com to be the region’s one-stop travel shop,’ he said.
