Alan Jones’ protégé Jake Thrupp has been spotted enjoying a lavish meal with his rumoured new girlfriend Britt Dietrich.
The pair got cosy at a lunch date with friends at Otto Ristorante in Woolloomooloo, in Sydney’s CBD, on Saturday afternoon.
‘He’s head over heels and the two are inseparable. He recently moved out of Alan’s home,’ a source told Daily Mail Australia.

Jones, 79, is a longtime friend of the Thrupp family and took the 23-year old from the Gold Coast under his wing when Thrupp transferred from Queensland University to Sydney Uni.
The aspiring media commentator has increasingly been seen at the retired radio king’s side and was one of a handful of Jones’s staff to remain on his personal payroll in the wake of his departure from the airwaves.
Thrupp and Dietrich arrived at the upmarket Italian restaurant arm-in-arm in matching blue ensembles.

His rumoured new flame was glammed up for the occasion and wore an elegant blue and white button down dress and a black stiletto heels.

Thrupp gazed at Dietrich with a smile plastered across his face as the couple stopped to take in views of the harbour and the city.

The duo have spent nights at the Opera House, dined in the Chairman’s Club at Royal Randwick and watched the New Year’s Eve fireworks from Jones’ terrace at the Bennelong apartments at Circular Quay.

Jones briefly described Thrupp as ‘immensely talented’ and credited him and a colleague for their work on his social media platforms.
Thrupp, a part-time uni student, has embarked on an impressive broadcasting career of his own since linking up with Jones.
He has occasionally appeared on Jones’s Sky News show and launched his own weekly podcast on which he has interviewed Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce, tennis star Mark Philippoussis and NSW government ministers.
Thrupp’s own website has described himself as the ‘fourth most influential person in Australia’.
