And it certainly caused a stir with dozens of mums left in hysterics.

‘That’s how you get extra nuggies,’ one mum laughed.

‘When a mummy T-Rex and a daddy T-Rex love each other very much,’ another woman began.

An Aldi spokesperson revealed they were aware of the incident.

‘We’d like to apologise for this isolated indiscretion from one of our family favourites. We ask you to give our T-Rex Bites privacy at this time,’ they told FEMAIL.

And the jokes continued to roll in.

‘X-rated dino nuggets, did you accidentally pick them up from the adult’s freezer section?’ another asked.

‘That’s a Ty-Randy-saurus,’ another woman said.

'That's how Aldi makes so much money, they put one of each in a box and the rest magically appear,' one mum laughed

‘Do they call this dino-style?’ another asked.

‘You have unlocked a never-ending  supply of nuggets,’ laughed another.

One woman said they were simply having some ‘rexy’ time.
