ALDI has announced they’re now releasing flavoured gin – and it’s PINK 

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, which means it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to buy your mum.

If a fancy bottle of spirits is up her alley, Australian ALDI stores have your present sorted.

The chain store will be selling rosé gin for $34.99, and it’s everyone’s favourite shade – pink.

‘This aromatic and flavoursome premium gin comes in a gift pack, with less focus on the traditional juniper flavour,’ an ALDI spokesperson said.

‘Ginbery’s Rosé is distilled with specially selected botanicals including strawberries and raspberries to create something truly wonderful,’ they added.

The spirit can be used to create pink cocktails or to add a twist to the classic gin and tonic.

The Ginbery’s Rosé Gin Gift pack will be available in stores next Wednesday 2 May, while stocks last.

Customers will be able to buy the liquor in selected ALDI stores in New South Wales, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory and Western Australia.

This news comes months after a different version of pink gin was available in ALDI stores in the United Kingdom, which was met with desperate pleas to have the beverage stocked here.

If gin isn’t something your mother likes to drink there will be plenty of other options available for the special day. 

ALDI is known for its affordable wines so you could instead purchase a $4.99 bottle of South Point Estate Rosé or Kaiora Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc for $8.99.
