Alec Baldwin has taunted Donald Trump Jr. on Twitter telling him he can tune into Saturday Night Live from prison as they traded blows following the actor’s latest skit that made fun of the President.
During the opening sketch of last week’s show, Baldwin reprised his role as the President to make fun of his national emergency press conference.
Don Jr. lashed out on Monday following the skit after Baldwin tweeted that President Trump’s ongoing criticism of SNL constituted a threat to the actor’s family.
In response, Baldwin tweeted: ‘You know, Junior, I’m sure u r stressed, facing a possible indictment and prison time for being part of the first criminal enterprise to operate out of the (White House).
‘But don’t worry. Tune in @nbcsnl while you are in the slammer. Your dad and his nuttiness will never be far away.’

The actor replied to Don Jr’s tweet, saying that he could watch SNL from prison
It came after Don Jr. had weighed in on Twitter to defend his father.
‘The guy that punches people in the face over a parking spot, has aggressively harassed paparazzi, and humiliated his daughter berating her over the phone eye etc is worried about a tweet that doesn’t even mention him? Okay. Spare everyone your bulls**t Alec!
‘Oh, Don’t forget the homophobic slurs… this clown is such a mess it’s hard to keep track.’
Don Jr. was referring to a series of legal troubles Baldwin had faced, including a recent parking spot dispute in New York in November.
The Twitter feud was sparked when President Trump fired up about SNL’s latest episode and questioned how the show could get away with ‘Republican hit jobs without retribution’.
Following Trump’s criticism, Baldwin tweeted: ‘I wonder if a sitting President exhorting his followers that my role in a TV comedy qualifies me as an enemy of the people constitutes a threat to my safety and that of my family?’
