Hilaria Baldwin has revealed she is pregnant again, five months after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage.

The 35-year-old yoga instructor, who has four children with her 30 Rock star husband, Alec Baldwin, 61, made the announcement on her Instagram account on Wednesday morning, sharing a video of her unborn baby’s heartbeat, while noting that she is still ‘very early’ on in her pregnancy.

She continued her post by revealing that she has struggled with exhaustion and nausea throughout the first few months, writing, ‘I don’t want to have to pretend that I feel OK.’

Hilaria and Alec, who married in 2012, have four children together – Carmen, six, Rafael, four, Leonardo, three, and Romeo, 15 months. Alec also has a 23-year-old daughter, Ireland, with his ex Kim Basinger.

However the couple have been open about their desire to expand their brood, with Alec revealing just a few weeks ago that his wife ‘wanted to have another one’.

In her Instagram announcement, Hilaria made clear that she couldn’t have been happier to have heard her unborn baby’s strong heartbeat, particularly as the sound came so soon after she suffered a devastating miscarriage.

‘It is still very early…but we have learned that there is a little person inside of me,’ Hilaria wrote in her post.

‘The sound of this strong heart makes me so happy — especially because of the loss we experienced in the spring. We want to share this news as we are excited and don’t want to hide the pregnancy.

‘These first few months are tough with exhaustion and nausea…and I don’t want to have to pretend that I feel OK.’

She concluded the post by asking for privacy for herself and her family.

And less than an hour later, she continued to celebrate by sharing her first baby bump selfie – a mirror shot that saw her posing in a black jumpsuit while showing off a tiny baby belly.

‘When you’ve had so many babies, 6 minutes pregnant = looking like 6 months pregnant,’ she joked in the caption.

The candid Instagram post comes just over five months after Hilaria used the same social media site to reveal to the world that she was suffering a first trimester miscarriage.

At the time, Hilaria posted an image of herself in her lingerie holding a small baby bump, while revealing in the caption that she was ‘most likely experiencing a miscarriage’.

‘I want to share with you that I am most likely experiencing a miscarriage,’ began the yoga guru in a lengthy Instagram caption. ‘I always promised myself that if I were to get pregnant again, I would share the news with you guys pretty early, even if that means suffering a public loss.’

Days later, she confirmed the news after visiting the doctor in order to get a scan – which revealed that her unborn child did not have a heartbeat.

Once again sharing the news on Instagram, Hilaria posted a family photo and wrote: ‘There was no heartbeat today at my scan…so it’s over…but I have some pretty strong and amazing heartbeats right here.

‘I am surrounded by such love and I feel so fortunate. Thank you all for listening, for your support, and for sharing your own personal stories.

‘We are stronger together…I hope this conversation continues to grow and that we stick together through both the beautiful and challenging moments in life. Much love and appreciation to all of you.’

The family’s happy news also comes just days after Alec’s Comedy Central roast aired.

His bad parenting was a hot topic during the special, with Ireland poking fun at the angry voicemail he left for her in 2007.

She teased him about their past, including when he called her a ‘rude, thoughtless, little pig’ in a furious rant.

Ireland said: ‘Dad, I’m Ireland. It’s good to be here. I almost didn’t even know about it because I haven’t check my voicemails from my dad from the last, like, 12 years.’

She continued: ‘A lot of people only know my dad as an angry guy, but he’s more than some lunatic that loses his temper. He also loses Emmys and Oscars and custody of his firstborn child, am I right?

‘I actually have a lot in common with the people in this roast, because like them, I don’t really know you that well either.’

Ireland received the biggest laugh from her father when she quipped: ‘Well, a lot of people know my dad as that guy from the Mission Impossible movies or that guy from 30 Rock, I know him as that guy from half my birthday parties.’

And she finished with: ‘Before I leave, I’d like to say something you never said to me, ‘Goodnight.’
