The Liverpool midfielder opened the scoring for the Reds in Sunday’s 4-3 win as the Merseysiders ended Pep Guardiola and City’s unbeaten league run in devastating fashion.

After a difficult start to life at Anfield, Chamberlain has flourished in recent weeks and has become a key component of Jurgen Klopp’s midfield – particularly after the departure of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
The 24-year-old Englishman scored his third league goal of the season in the win over Manchester City which is more league goals than he ever managed for Arsenal in a single campaign.
And while the goal will come as welcome relief for Oxlade-Chamberlain, it will be the fact he completed back-to-back 90 minutes that will have pleased the former Arsenal man.
Sunday was just the fourth league 90 minutes he has completed since his £35m transfer from north London to Merseyside in August.
