Alexa Chung oozes elegance in a champagne satin gown at a Met Gala After party with ex Matthew Hitt

Alexa Chung showed off her fashion credentials as she headed for a night out at the Standard Hotel’s Met Gala afterparty on Monday evening.

The beauty made the appearance with her ex-boyfriend Matthew Hitt rather than current beau Orson Fry – as the pair have seemingly remained friendly since their 2017 split.

For the bash, which followed on from the star-studded Met Gala, the 38-year-old designer looked elegant in a champagne coloured satin gown.

The dress featured a draping bardot neckline, while the beauty gave a glimpse at her toned legs with a thigh-grazing slit up the side.

Alexa’s above-the-shoulder tresses fell freely into a loose curl for the evening, as she went bold with a bright red lip.

The model added a pair of clear, pointed-toe heels, which featured a large, silver bow detail.

Alexa clutched onto a tiny, diamond detailed yellow handbag for the outing, making her way into the afterparty. 

She added chunky silver jewellery in the form of a statement ring and a stand-out bracelet.

Meanwhile, ex-boyfriend Matthew looked dapper in a low-key black suit, layered over a white shirt, with the top buttons undone for a more casual look.

His brunette locks sat in a ruffled curl as he accompanied the star to the bash.

Alexa kept the same look earlier in the evening, as she struck an array of poses on the red carpet.

She graced the main event solo, with neither Matthew or her current beau Orson by her side.

Matthew and Alexa have remained close since their 2017 split, with the pair being spotted together after the break up in the same year.

But Alexa’s boyfriend Orson, who is heir to the Fry’s chocolate dynasty, was noticeably missing from the star-studded evening – following reports that the pair are living together in London.

The couple first sparked romance rumours in May 2019 when they were seen putting on an affectionate display at the All Point East Festival, it was then revealed that their relationship had begun two months prior.
