Alice Evans has revealed she’s being evicted from her LA home after being ‘unable to pay her rent’.

The actress, 56, wrote on Instagram that she and her daughters have ‘no way of renting even the cheapest room in the city’ after being beset by financial woes amid her bitter court battle with ex-husband Ioan Gruffudd.

Sharing a sweet throwback snap with her two daughters, Alice shared that she is like many others in Los Angeles trying to find a new place to live after the city was devastated by fires last month.

She wrote: ‘Not sure of the date but guessing around 2016. Happy times before the bomba was dropped! Funnily enough in the neighbourhood where we’re currently living.

‘I have TWO big pieces of news for you all. This one is about home life. So we’re going to be evicted, and we have no way of renting even the cheapest room anywhere in this city.

‘Don’t be sad – this is not a cry for sympathy or for help but just to say that I will be live – posting what goes on in the coury re: the eviction and passing on tops for anybody else who finds themselves in this situation.

‘I think, especially since the fires and then the start of the second Trump admin, there will be lot of people like us, fighting for a place to simply rest their heads and if my platform can help anybody out or at least make them feel less along then that makes me happy.’

Alice was thought to be renting a home in California with her two children after her bitter divorce from Ioan.

In December she told her Instagram followers she was scared about her family’s upcoming eviction from their home.

‘I have to be honest. I’m not sure I have this. I’ve been holding it together for four years now amidst the smears and the financial burden and the nastiness,’ she wrote on Instagram.

‘But now I’m scared. I don’t think I will be able to keep going once we are evicted. It feels like the last straw…’

Alice then concluded ‘I’m so sorry for oversharing,’

A year ago Alice told friends that she cannot pay her rent or afford food, and was contemplating taking a job in Starbucks amid her marathon divorce fight with actor Ioan.

She told pals that the money which she got from the sale of the marital home, believed to amount to $100,000 is all gone, much of it on lawyers, and she is now in a financial crisis.

Ioan and Alice were formally divorced in July last year. But they are still battling fiercely over spousal support and custody and financial support for their two daughters Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11.

At the September 9 court hearing, Judge Josh Freeman Stinn signed off on a stipulated agreement in which Ioan pays $3,000 a month temporary child support and $1,500 a month temporary spousal support until another February 13 hearing where a more permanent support arrangement will be forged.

Ioan is planning to call his fiancée Bianca Wallace as a witness at the February hearing to testify that his ex wife ‘stalked, harassed and abused’ her, repeatedly violating a three-year domestic violence restraining order (DVRO) which she and Ioan took out in August 2022, after enduring a ‘smear campaign’ of hateful text messages, emails and social media posts from her.

Ioan claims that Alice ‘engaged in a pattern of damaging and defamatory conduct against me, aimed at intimidating and harassing me and my fiancé, Bianca Wallace, while alienating our two young children from me.’

Ioan – whose latest movie, Bad Boys: Ride or Die has grossed more than $403 million worldwide – has fought Evans’ demands for more money, claiming he’s paid some $400,000 more in spousal support that he needed to under their pre-marital agreement.

In earlier court papers, he called her claims of poverty ‘exaggerated’ and said it’s a ‘false narrative’ that she and the children have been left destitute.

The former couple met on the set of the movie 102 Dalmatians more than 20 years ago. They fell in love in real life and were married in Mexico in 2007.

The actor filed for divorce in March 2021, shortly after Alice announced on social media that her husband of 14 years was walking out on her and their two daughters.

The bitter war took a bizarre twist in October as Alice accused her ex of ‘fraternizing’ with a female lawyer during an appearance at a Los Angeles courthouse.

It started when Alice, 56, was temporarily booted from the courtroom September 9 for taking photos inside – apparently of Ioan– which is strictly against court rules and could have landed her with a contempt charge.

But Alice then insisted in new court documents found by DailyMail.com that she wasn’t taking shots of her 50 year-old ex, she was photographing a female lawyer in court named Andrea Burkhart.

Alice claims Burkhart ‘has been fraternizing’ with Ioan, ‘has said awful things about me’ and ‘refers to me as ‘Malice’ instead of ‘Alice’ in her Twitter posts.’

Dozens of celebrities have been forced to flee their ritzy mega-mansions in coastal Los Angeles as three raging infernos threaten to raze the city to the ground.

More than 30,000 residents evacuated their homes as a massive wildfire ripped through the celeb enclave of Pacific Palisades, burning nearly 3,000 acres and reducing dozens of homes to rubble.

A second blaze, dubbed the Eaton Fire, broke out some 30 miles inland in Altadena, near Pasadena, and increased in size to 1,000 acres from 200 acres in a few hours, according to Cal Fire.

A third blaze named the Hurst Fire had also broken out in Sylmar, in the San Fernando Valley northwest of Los Angeles, prompting evacuations of some nearby residents.

Firefighters are continuing to battle the ferocious wildfires in Los Angeles suburbs, which have devoured buildings and sparked panicked evacuations as hurricane-force winds fueled rapid blaze growth.
