Alicia Keys gave her Instagram followers a behind-the-scenes look at her recent performance at Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee festivities on Saturday.

While reflecting on her setlist at the star-studded even in a new video, the 15-time Grammy winner, 41, marveled at how ‘every song was requested personally by the Queen.’

In the recording, she can be heard gushing to her sons Egypt, 12, and seven-year-old Genesis ‘that the Queen requested the songs’ she would be singing at the Party at the Palace.

Her eldest responded that it was ‘pretty cool’ as they sat on a golf cart.  

‘You can’t refuse the Queen. It’s against the law here,’ the preteen, who Keys shares with husband Swizz Beatz, quipped. 

The No One hitmaker even revealed The Queen requested she play her 2009 track Empire State of Mind.
