Alison Hammond makes a cheeky comment to Alan Carr as he chats on This Morning

‘I’d love to get my hands on you!’: Alison Hammond makes VERY cheeky comment to Alan Carr as he discusses his wax figure in Blackpool on This Morning

Alison Hammond made a VERY cheeky comment to Alan Carr on This Morning on Friday, telling him ‘I’d love to get my hands on you!’  while referring to his wax figure in Blackpool.

The comedian, 45, then hilariously quipped to the presenter, 46, ‘You’re barking up the wrong tree, love!’

The wax figure depicts him on the set of his former TV show Chatty Man.

He revealed that fans like to get up close and personal with the figure, and then told Alison and Dermot O’Leary that he is donating the jacket he wore on Ru Paul’s Drag Race to give the artwork a ‘fresh new look’

The two presenters went on to ask about his tour, which he is currently embarking on.

Alison asked: ‘Do the jokes get old?’ To which he replied: ‘They weren’t that fresh to begin with. I ask the audience do you want to talk about covid? You’ve got to mention it but half of them have got masks on and half of them haven’t.’

He hilariously added: ‘The laughter must get soaked up in the mask cause I can’t hear it! When you’ve got unhappy sad eyes… it can really be a dampener.’

Going on, he spoke about drinking on tour, and that because of his former TV show – which saw him share a beverage with his guests – drinks are lined up for him and he admitted that he spends the tour drunk.

‘Because of Chatty Man I’m known for having a drink and they just bring them and line them up’

To which Alison replied: ‘So you’re always drunk’ and Alan said: ‘Yes! And I love it.’

Alan revealed earlier this month that he had to take months off the booze to help hubby Paul Drayton battle his alcohol addiction.

Paul is currently getting help from professionals after falling off the wagon over the summer and injuring his face.

Alan then went on to chat about his guest stint on the UK version of Rupaul’s Drag Race.

He said: ‘Do you know what during lockdown I was so privileged to work on this. It was grim and then you go to Manchester and have a day of fabulousness and fun.’

To which Alison cheekily replied: ‘I’d absolutely love to be guest judge can you put a word in babes?’
