Allan Liang reveals the STRICT new rules about sex in the house

The Big Brother reboot premiered on Monday on Channel Seven, with Sonia Kruger as host.

And now eliminated contestant Allan Liang has revealed some of the strict new rules on the revamped show.

Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday, Allan revealed that sex is completely banned in the house.

The 31-year-old corporate salesman said that even if contestants want to sleep in the same bed together while in the house, it’s ‘off limits.’

‘So you saw no nudity at all in the house, nothing?’ Kyle asked Allan.

Allan told Kyle that this version of Brother is rather tame.

‘There was a bit, but it wasn’t like back in the old days, if you know what I mean,’ Allan said.

Kyle went on to ask if Allan had sex in the house, when Allan said that the show is strictly ‘family friendly.’

‘No, new rules, mate, it’s Channel Seven, a family friendly network,’ he said with a laugh.

Off limits: 'You couldn't sleep in the same bed as someone, that's why there is only single beds,' Allan revealed. Pictured is housemate Talia Rycroft

Kyle probed him further, asking if you can do ‘doona dancing’ in a bed, but Allan reiterated that it’s ‘off limits.’

The old Big brother featured a raunchy spin off program, called Big Brother Uncut which was aired on Channel 10.

Hosted by Gretel Killeen, Uncut was known for airing footage of the housemates showering, engaging in racy behaviour and discussing sexual matters.

Following a wave of complaints, the show was rebranded as Big Brother: Adults Only for the 2006 season and was eventually axed the following year.

Since its cancellation, the TV watchdog has enforced new rules about the depiction of sexual content, meaning that Big Brother Uncut will likely never return.

Big Brother Uncut courted controversy in 2001 for airing a ‘sex scene’ between Peter Timbs and Christina Davis.

‘I might rape you if I see you naked in here,’ Christina jokingly told Peter when they were in bed together.

Later that night, infra-red footage showed the pair moving rhythmically underneath a doona.

Neither Peter nor Christina has actually confirmed they were having sex, however.

Other racy antics on the show included contestant Sara-Marie Fedele stripping off and dancing around the crowded bedroom wearing just a pair of rabbit ears.

The show also raised eyebrows when it aired footage from a ‘bondage party’, which took place just days into the show’s 2001 season.
