Alli wears Bane mask to training ahead of Champions League

As the winter weather gets colder in north London, Dele Alli has taken special measures to shield himself from the low temperatures.

As he and his Tottenham team-mates trudged out to training on Tuesday, the midfielder’s attire was more noticeable than most as he sported a Bane-style mask.

The Nike-created ‘Strike Snood’ is not actually released until the latter stages of 2018, but Alli has been afforded a prototype model to test out.

And he looked the part as he trained in the new gear, which is especially designed to transport sweat away from the body to keep you warm in the winter months.

The all-black mask, with a Nike tick down the side, has small holes in the front to ensure you can breathe through it, which also giving you the perfect platform to recreate famous scenes from the Batman movies.

Tottenham are already sponsored by the sportswear giants, meaning Alli was decked out in a hat, gloves, top and trousers all branded with the famous tick.

He and his team-mates are finalising their preparations for Wednesday’s Champions League match, in which they face APOEL Nicosia at Wembley.

Spurs are already through as group winners, beating Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund to the summit, meaning Mauricio Pochettino is likely to field a weakened side.

NIKE STRIKE SNOOD

The all-new Nike Strike Snood is made from a neoprene material, that is designed to take sweat away from the body.

Due for release in Autumn 2018, it features small holes in the front of the mask which allow the user to breathe without hindrance, while not holding in any moisture.

The British side are heading into a run of matches at Wembley, where they face Stoke and then Brighton at home following the European clash.

They are currently well off the pace in the Premier League, sitting 18 points off Manchester City at the top, having failed to win for the last month.

With their title ambitions all-but-over, it will now be a race for top four, with United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all currently above them in the table.
