Allison Mack of the NXIVM sex cult has filed for divorce from wife of 3 years Nicki Clyne… as she awaits sentencing for racketeering, conspiracy charges

  • Mack, famous for her role on TV’s Smallville, was arrested in April of 2018 on charges of sex trafficking among others in relation to her position in NXIVM
  • Clyne, an actress having appeared in Battlestar Galactica, was also an integral part of the sex cult presenting itself as a self-help organization
  • The pair were married in 2017
  • The NXIVM cult was led by Keith Raniere, who was sentenced to 120 years in prison in October for coercing women to have sex with him as well as branding them
  • Allison is reportedly still under some form of house arrest while she awaits sentencing for her crimes and could face up to 40 years behind bars

Allison Mack, the disgraced actress who has been charged with being an integral part of the NXIVM sex cult, has filed for divorce from her wife.

TMZ reports that Mack, 38, filed documents in Orange County, California on Friday to divorce her wife and former fellow cult member Nicki Clyne, whom she wed in 2017.

Both Allison and Nicki, 37, were longtime members of the NXIVM cult, led by convicted felon Keith Raniere.

Several reports allege that the pair, who do not have any children, got married at the behest of Raniere in an effort to allow Clyne, who is Canadian, remain in the US as NXIVM is based in upstate New York.

In April of last year, Mack, who famously appeared on the TV show Smallville, pled guilty to two counts of racketeering conspiracy and racketeering in a high profile court case that saw prosecutors charge her with recruiting sex ‘slaves’ to engage in intercourse with Raniere as part of a secretive and coercive group within NXIVM called DOS.

While Raniere, 60, was charged and sentenced to 120 years in prison in October, Mack is still awaiting sentencing.

She could face up to 40 years behind bars.

Clyne, an actress having appeared in Battlestar Galactica, avoided any direct charges in connection with her involvement in the cult.

However, she was also an integral part of the nefarious group presenting itself as a self-help organization.

NXIVM preyed upon many women including other actresses, as well as Dynasty star Catherine Oxenberg’s daughter India, who joined the group in 2011 at the age of 20.

India’s testimony in Raniere’s trial was instrumental in putting him behind bars.

She also alleged that Mack was her ‘master’ in the cult, having ‘targeted’ her and telling her when she could eat, restricting her to just 500 calories a day.
