Ally Langdon reveals bizarre start to her romance with husband Mike Willesee Jr.

Channel Nine star Allison Langdon has been happily married to journalist Michael Willesee Jr. since 2008. 

But in a new interview with Show and Tell, the A Current Affair host admitted her memory of their very first meeting is a little blurry.

Allison, 44, said she remembers falling in love with Mike at first sight at a Sydney bar, but mistakenly recalls meeting him when he wore a red T-shirt. 

But Allison said Mike has corrected her when she retells the story to friends, saying he’s never owned a red T-shirt in his life. 

‘We were at a bar and this guy walked in and he had his red T-shirt and dark jeans and you just have that moment where you just have like an overwhelming physical attraction to someone? I just got hit by this,’ Allison said.

‘And I finished telling the story, blah, blah, blah and Mike interrupted me and says, ”I’ve never owned a red T-shirt…” she hilariously added. 

The pair went on to tie the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in the idyllic Noosa in 2008.

The couple share a son Mack and a daughter called Scout together.

Last year, Allison revealed she has forbidden her husband from ever remarrying if she dies young. 

She said she made the decision while filming a risky 60 Minutes segment while shark diving.

‘A couple of years ago I was diving with great white sharks on a shoot. Before jumping in I took my mask off and said “tell my husband if I die he must mourn me forever and never remarry,”‘ she told Andy Lee while appearing on his show The Hundred in September.

Allison said her statement took her cameraman by surprise.

Despite this, the pair went on to tie the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in the idyllic Noosa in 2008. The couple share a son Mack and a daughter called Scout together

‘I think he was expecting me to say something really profound,’ she quipped.

Deciding whether Allison’s words were a ‘d**k move’, Andy joked it seemed pretty ‘selfish’. 

In February, Ally said her husband was ‘incredibly proud’ of her for landing the role as host of A Current Affair.

‘He was incredibly proud [when I received the call],’ Allison said on the Kyle and Jackie O Show.

‘And he thinks I’m much nicer now that I’m sleeping more!’ she joked after her stint on the Today show. 

Ally’s late father-in-law Mike Willesee previously hosted ACA.
