Amanda Holden has ‘landed Channel 4 show after starring on BBC and ITV programmes’

‘Everyone wants a piece of her!’ Amanda Holden ‘set to be the first star to appear on THREE channels after landing a new series on Channel 4’

Amanda Holden has reportedly landed a new Channel 4 show.

The TV presenter, 50, is said to be taking part in a top-secret programme with the channel, after starring on both the BBC and ITV with Britain’s Got Talent and I Can See Your Voice.

According to reports on Friday, Amanda is in high demand and she is keen to work across all channels rather than be associated with just one.

A source told The Sun: ‘It’s a top-secret brand new show format and will take Amanda back to her TV roots, having started out on shows like Kiss Me Kate, Hearts and Bones and Cutting It in the Nineties.

‘Everyone wants a piece of Amanda right now. She’s become the golden girl of TV and radio over the last 12 months.

‘Amanda has never wanted a handcuffs deal from any one TV channel and it’s paid off because she’s going to be the first person to work across all three major UK channels.’

MailOnline has contacted Amanda’s representatives and Channel 4 spokespeople for further comment.

Last month, Amanda teased a new venture which could potentially be her Channel 4 show, as she posed for a snap and wrote: ‘Starting to film a fun new project today.’

Amanda is currently starring in the first season of I Can See Your Voice, while she is set to appear on the judging panel of the 15th season of BGT.

As well as her TV gigs, Amanda also presents the Heart Breakfast Show alongside Jamie Theakston every weekday.

It was recently reported that Amanda will step into Cilla Black’s shoes and host her own version of Blind Date – 30 years after she appeared on the show looking for love herself.

The star is believed to be working with the BBC on the ‘special’ project, having hinted at the details in a recent interview.

‘It’s always been a dream of mine to have my own dating show, so I’m excited that I’m working on something special with the BBC at the moment,’ the media personality told Woman’s Own magazine.

Amanda, who was on Blind Date as a contestant in 1991 when she was 19, was rumoured to be in talks with BBC producers last month.

‘Execs are thrilled to have Amanda on board. She is perfect for a dating show because she has a great sense of humour,’ an insider told Daily Star Sunday.

‘Everyone working on the show thinks she has the potential to be just like Cilla was years ago on Blind Date. There’s a lot of excitement about this.’
