Amanda Kloots rocks a trucker hat with her son Elvis’ name on it as she takes him for a playdate

Amanda Kloots wears a trucker hat with son Elvis’ name on it as she takes him for a playdate in LA… after clapping back at critics for dating again

Amanda Kloots threw herself into mom mode on Sunday as she took her son Elvis Cordero for a playdate in Los Angeles.

The 39-year-old The Talk host looked sporty in a grey romper and a trucker hat with his name on it as she cradled the two-year-old at her hip.

Amanda recently incurred some backlash for revealing that she was dating again just one year after losing husband Nick Cordero to COVID-19 complications, but she hit back at critics.

Her number one: The Talk host threw herself into mom mode as she brought son Elvis, two, to a playdate in Los Angeles while wearing a trucker hat with his name across it

Amanda showed off her fit physique in a grey cotton romper which exposed her arms and her long legs.

She paired the look with New Balance sneakers and carried an eye-catching cylindrical purse in a shade of aqua.

Elvis was dressed adorably in a patterned jumpsuit and a pair of kiwi colored Crocs while carried in his mother’s arms.

While gesturing to her son, Kloots continued to wear her wedding ring despite recently sharing on her daytime talk show that she was dating again — which drew criticism.

‘I’ve never actually had to date. I just started dating again and it is so crazy to be dating for the first time at 39 years old,’ she said on a July 23 episode of The Talk.

‘And it’s quite terrifying and really out of your element, and it’s just hard. It is hard,’ she said, after discussing how she had met both husbands — including Nick — doing Broadway shows.

‘It’s all wonderful. It’s wonderful people I’m meeting, and it’s been a great process so far. But I’ll just say it’s very hard without getting into too many details,’ she continued.

After her reveal someone took to the comments section of her Instagram to express their distaste. ‘Dating again already wow that was fast.’

She put the user on blast as she wrote: ‘How dare you judge anyone especially someone going through this process,’ while tagging their handle.

‘I will address this soon guys I promise. There’s too much to say and too much that widows deal with to not talk about it. Until then I will call out anyone who is rude enough to comment like this.’

And she continued to address more of the situation on an Instagram live that following Sunday.

‘Dating after loss is such a taboo topic and it’s because of the judgement that comes with it. And I get why because we don’t talk about it.’

‘Even if I found amazing love again and I am beyond happy, I think every day I will miss Nick,’ she said, adding that she wishes Nick could see how their son Elvis was growing.

Amanda lost her husband Nick (who she married in 2017) last July after he battled for his life on a ventilator due to COVID-19 complications, which also caused his leg to be amputated.

On the anniversary of his passing she wrote: ‘Today hurts, there is no other way around it. One year ago you left us and became our angel in heaven. You were surrounded by so much love and Led Zeppelin playing on Spotify-no doubt that was your doing, not mine.

‘What happened was unthinkable, losing you was my biggest fear. I used to tell you all the time, “Don’t you dare go anywhere. If I lost you, I don’t know what I’d do.” ‘
