With the festive season in full swing, shoppers are planning to go bargain hunting at department stores in the early hours of Boxing Day.

Fortunately for those of us who don’t feel like fighting the crowds, now you can skip the queue by ordering all your favourite items from the comfort of your home.

Amazon Australia has given a sneak peak into its Boxing Day sale, with spectacular deals set to go live at the stroke of midnight on December 26.

The international retail giant, which launched Down Under earlier this month, has joined the country’s biggest shopping event of the year by offering huge discounts.

While most deals are yet to be released, the retailer has already promised to slash prices on fashion, beauty, electronics, entertainment, kitchen, homeware and more.

Further to the money-saving specials, Amazon will also have hundreds of ‘Lightning Deals’ – a promotion offered in a limited quantity for a short period of time.

For those who are scouring through the fashion section, you can expect to find up to 40 per cent off on selected men, women and children’s clothing across big brands.

Video games, children’s toys, Kindles, and baby products are also expceted to see reductions

For the movie buffs and entertainers, shoppers can also ‘buy one get one free’ on selected books, music and DVDs.

There will be a $50 off on selected Kindle ereaders.

Customers who pay with a NAB Personal Credit Card or a registered American Express card will receive 10 per cent cashback on any eligible purchases on the day.
