Amazon’s best-selling mattress retails for $95

Finding a comfortable (and affordable) mattress can be tough. But for those spending countless hours scouring the internet for the perfect bed, your search may well have come to a dreamy ending.

Retail giant Amazon’s best-selling mattress has just been revealed as the Linenspa Memory Foam and Innerspring Hybrid mattress, a budget-friendly design that is driving customers wild with excitement – not least because of its incredibly affordable price.

The mattress starts at $95 for a twin-size and goes up to $199.99 for a California king and according to the product description, it ‘combines memory foam with the traditional support of an innerspring mattress for a medium-firm feel’ and has a cozy layer of memory foam quilted in the mattress cover to help minimize pressure points.

However it isn’t just the price that is driving people wild; the comfort levels also seem to be on-par with much pricier designs; more than 85 per cent of the reviews  on the product are four and five star, no mean feat given that there are more than 4,600.

This has all helped to earn the mattress the title of ‘#1 best seller in Mattresses’, according to the Amazon website.

One person wrote: ‘I just bought my second one! Great mattress! Great price! I read countless reviews on mattresses in the same category and thought this one would be a good choice. It does not disappoint!’

Another person said: ‘Made my dreams come, true, literally. I needed this for temporary housing, bought it in twin. Didn’t expect much for the price and I just needed a cheap temporary bed. Honestly probably the best mattress I’ve ever owned at any price.’

And kids even love it too with one reviewer who said: ‘Bought for our four-year-old daughter who is the size of a six-year-old so she would have a more comfortable mattress then her thin toddler one.’

‘I was skeptical about buying a mattress online but this is even better quality than we thought. [It’s] sturdy and comfortable and doesn’t make any noise getting on an off. Our daughter has slept so well the last few nights with it. It will definitely last her a while.’

And if you’re looking for a pillow to accompany your new mattress, then take a look at mattress brand Helix. The company debuted its new ‘cool pillow’ a couple months ago and it has been getting rave reviews due to its polyethylene fabric with a high heat transfer — meaning it stays cooler than other fabrics.

And although the pillow has come highly-recommended, it’s not exactly budget friendly because it retails for $115 for a standard size and $129 for a king, but it might be worth it if you’re a hot sleeper.

Either way, if you’re looking for a good mattress, there are plenty of brands to choose from – Allswell, Casper and Helix – but Amazon seems to be the best option for a comfy and affordable night’s sleep.
