Amber Heard poses in a kitchen with her baby girl Oonagh who was born via surrogate

Amber Heard revealed last week that she had welcomed her first child via surrogate, a baby girl named Oonagh Paige Heard.

And on Tuesday the Aquaman actress shared a new video with the child as they were  seen in her kitchen.

‘You can take the gal out of LA, but you can’t take LA out of the gal #notajuicer,’ said the siren as she was seen sipping a green beverage.

Heard is standing in the kitchen as she wears her hair back with a green headband. She shows off her toned arms in a beige tank top as she holds her girl with one hand.

The other hand holds a green smoothie in a plastic container.

In front of the mom and child are several vegetables like apples and oranges, as well as red peppers and green limes.

The news that the ex of Johnny Depp has welcomed a baby came as a surprise to her followers.

Last week the actress, 35, took to Instagram to share a snap of herself cradling her daughter, who was born on April 8, 2021.

She wrote a lengthy caption about wanting to have a child under her own conditions: ‘I’m so excited to share this news with you. Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms.’

Bisexual Amber’s most recent relationship was with cinematographer Bianca Butti whom she began dating in January 2020 and were seen together as recently as February 2021. It’s not known if they are still together.

What’s in a name?

The name Oonagh (also spelled Una and Oona) is pronounced oo-nuh. It is a girl’s name of Irish origin meaning ‘lamb’.

The name Oona was made famous by Eugene O’Neill’s daughter, who became Charlie Chaplin’s wife. One of Oona’s granddaughters was named after her – Oona Castilla Chaplin – and is now an actress famous in her own right for playing Talisa of Volantis in HBO’s Game of Thrones.

In Irish legend, Una/Oona/Oonagh was a daughter of a king of Lochlainn. The name was very popular in Ireland in the Middle Ages, and is currently seeing a comeback.

The moniker, (also spelled Una and Oona) is pronounced oo-nuh. It is a girl’s name of Irish origin meaning ‘lamb’.

The middle name of Paige appears to be a tribute to her late mother Paige Heard, who died in May 2020.

A sources close to Heard claim that she welcomed the child via surrogate after being told that she would never being able to carry her own baby, according to Page Six on Thursday.

The revelation comes five years after filing from divorce from actor Depp, 58, as the two have recently been embroiled in bitter court battles.

Announcing her baby news, Amber discussed her personal life in the Instagram caption: ‘A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this.’

Amber stressed the importance of women being able to become parents regardless of marital status.

She wrote: ‘I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way

‘I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.’

She concluded the post by saying: ‘She’s the beginning of the rest of my life.’

The insider for Page Six explained that it was important for Amber to be transparent when it comes to the birth of her child.

The source said: ‘The most important thing for Amber is that she’s open about Oonagh’s birth.

‘There are so many women who feel they can’t talk about their fertility and are worried and embarrassed; Amber wants them to feel supported and realize that there are a multitude of ways to have a baby even if you have fertility issues.’

The insider who knows Amber said that the star is thankful for the woman who was her surrogate and helped her fulfill her goal of being a mother.

The source explained: ‘Oonagh is absolutely gorgeous, and Amber is besotted. She always knew that she wanted to be a mom, and this is her greatest wish come true. She’s so grateful to the wonderful woman who helped bring Oonagh into her life.’

Amber has been in London in recent weeks, however it is not know where Oonagh was born.

Last week, the blonde beauty shared a snap of herself posing on a street in the British capital and a slew of gym pictures.

It is thought that Amber could be in the UK ahead of the Aquaman sequel starting filming. MailOnline contacted the actress’ representatives for comment at the time.

It was reported in mid-March by Discussing Film that the sequel was eyeing a June production start in the U.K., although that hasn’t been confirmed.

And although Amber only made the revelation on Thursday, a day after her child was born she took to Instagram to share a video of herself on the beach while expressing her gratitude to all of her well-wishers on April 9, 2021.

‘I just wanna say thank you so much to all of my online supporters and my fans,’ said the star while on a beach before apologizing ‘for the death threats.’

She has been locked in a years-long feud with her ex-husband Depp in which they have denied each other’s explosive allegations of domestic violence.

In 2018 she claimed to have received death threats and lost work after accusing Depp of abuse and in November 2020 his fans viciously trolled her on Twitter.

In November, a UK judge ruled against Depp’s suit against an English publication for calling him a ‘wife-beater,’ citing that the accusations Heard made – that have negatively impacted the actor’s career – were ‘substantially true’.

Months later in March, Depp was refused permission to bring an appeal against a damning High Court ruling that he assaulted his ex-wife with his lawyers claiming that he ‘looked forward to presenting the irrefutable truth’ to a US libel court.

Depp’s $50m (£35m) US libel case against Heard – which will also be extremely costly – was recently delayed until April 2022.

The pair met on the set of the 2011 film The Rum Diary in which they both starred and began dating in 2012 before marrying in February 2015.

Their divorce was finalized in January 2017 with Amber pledging to donated the $7 million settlement she received to charity.

However, the bitter legal wrangling between the former spouses revealed lurid details about their time together.

During the High Court trial in July 2020, lawyers representing Depp and The Sun newspaper dropped daily bombshells in an attempt to negatively portray the other side.

One of the most jaw-dropping claims resulted in the now notorious ‘poo-gate’ in which Depp alleged that Heard had defecated in their marital bed – which the actress blamed on their dogs.

And for her part, Heard told the court Depp once flew into a violent rage and hit her so hard that blood splattered on the wall.

Heard testified in the July 2020 High Court case that Depp repeatedly assaulted her after an argument over his alleged use of MDMA during a three-day trip to Australia, while he was filming Pirates of the Caribbean.

She told the court that he stayed up all night, taking pills and drinking, and then attacked her again the next morning.

It was also said that the following night, he pushed her into a table tennis table, tore off her nightgown and attacked her, before smashing a telephone into a wall and severing the top of his middle finger.

Depp claimed that it was Heard who was violent, throwing a bottle at him which severed the top of his finger and stubbing a cigarette out on his cheek, resulting in him being taken to hospital.

The court was also shown photographs of Heard’s trashed L.A. home taken in March 2013. She claimed that the actor became angry and jealous when she hung a painting, by her ex-partner Tasya Van Ree, by her bed.

Depp was also accused of trying to set it on fire and hitting Heard so hard that blood from her lip ended up on the wall.

Depp maintained that he simply asked Heard to move the painting from the bedroom ‘as a courtesy’ and that she had an ‘extreme reaction’.

Additionally, at the end of May it was reported that Amber is not being investigated for perjury in Depp’s ongoing defamation case against her, according to her attorney.

The actress’s lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, is denying reports that the Los Angeles Police Department is looking into whether she staged injuries and fabricated a crime scene following an alleged altercation between the former couple on May 20, 2016.

‘The statute of limitations for perjury in California is three years and has long since expired, so an investigation, much less charges, much less a conviction, much less jail time, are impossibilities,’ Bredehoft said during a private hearing on Friday morning which was reported by RadarOnline.

In light of the false investigation reports, Heard’s lawyers requested a motion for dismissal of the 57-year-old actor’s case against her, which was heard at a Fairfax, Virginia court.

The London Fields star would face a reported maximum sentence of four years in jail if she were to be found guilty of perjury.

Bredehoft also asserted in the Virginia court that the LAPD ‘repeatedly denied there’s any investigation of Amber Heard.’

She claimed that the department ‘does not even investigate perjury ever.’

The LAPD appeared to corroborate her assertion, with a rep telling RadarOnline that they had never heard of the department investigating a perjury case before.

Bredehoft also argued that Heard would face additional emotional distress if the lawsuit were to continue.

She told Judge Penney S. Azcarate that the case would result in ‘more intentional fabrications and deliberate misinformation trying to confuse the public, prejudice the jury, inflict harm on Amber Heard and incite the Depp fans to violence.’

Amber’s attorney’s also listed other reasons why the case should be dismissed including the financial burden that both parties had and would continue to incur with each allegedly spending $20 million in legal fees.

Bredehoft also slammed Depp’s lawyer, Adam Waldman, declaring that he was ‘trying to stir up the press and prejudice a future jury.’

At the end, Amber’s team emerged victorious as Azcarate granted their request to dismiss for a third time in the event that she ‘may be missing something.’

However, she did warn Heard that she would be sanctioned if it was found that she wasted the court’s time.

Amber has had quite the dating history as she dated artist Tasya Van Ree from 2008 to 2012 before Depp then after the marriage dated model Cara Delevingne in 2016, multibillionaire Elon Musk in 2017, art dealer Vito Schnabel, and most recently Butti.
