Amber Luke says willpower stopped her going blind after eye tattoos

A woman who spent $16,500 (£10,00) on transforming herself into a human dragon left This Morning viewers baffled when she appeared on the show on Thursday.

Amber Luke, 23, from from the Central Coast in NSW,, appeared via live video link on the ITV daytime show where she spoke to Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes about her transformation.

She revealed that of her many procedures including having her tongue split in two, having her eye balls tattooed was the most dangerous as she could have lost her sight.

Speaking on the show Amber said of the procedure: ‘You run the risk of going blind.

‘At the same time if you have a good body modification artist that you know and you can trust and you have all the trust in the world for them there’s no issue.’

During the interview Amber revealed that she believes it was her ‘will power’ that saved her sight while having the procedure.

She continued: ‘I thought to myself if I was to go blind I would run the risk of my mum losing her career as she would have to take care of me and that’s the main motivation as to why I didn’t go blind.

‘When I was getting it done and when that syringe was hitting my eyeball I kept thinking to myself if I do this I’m going to ruin someone’s life, not only mine but my mother’s as well.

‘So I quite selflessly moved past it in a way it was a mind over matter.’
