The 31-year-old American Horror Story actor appeared in the latest issue of W magazine to discuss his new role in Pose and divulged that it was the superstar sisters – Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen – that, ‘got me out to LA.’

Speaking with the fashion outlet, the Ryan Murphy universe regular opened up about his introduction into the film industry and what brought him to Hollywood.
Towards the end of the interview, the magazine queried, ‘Who was your cinematic crush growing up?’
To which Peters responded, ‘Well, first it was the Olsen twins. For sure. Yeah, they kind of got me out to LA in a way, because I was like, ”I gotta meet ’em!”

W asked Peters about his first audition, and explained, ‘I don’t remember. But the second thing I auditioned for was this independent film called Clipping Adam, about a boy who loses his mother and sister in a car accident and then grows his hair out.
‘I had this incredible Whitesnake mullet for the whole movie, which was hilarious.’
When he was younger, he ‘was a big fan of Shia LaBeouf and Even Stevens, and was like, ”Oh, man. I would love to be on Disney Channel and have a show.”‘
As it turned out he ended up on Disney Channel’s Phil of the Future later that year.
