American Idol stars Gabby Barrett, 19, and Cade Foehner, 23, tie-the-knot after meeting on the singing show

They met on the reboot of American Idol in 2018 and both made it into the top five. 

And while Gabby Barrett, 19, and Cade Foehner, 23, may have found the stardom they were seeking, they ended up finding something even better – true love. 

The young duo took to social media on Sunday morning to reveal they had tied-the-knot on Saturday in Garrison, Texas, in front of 100 people.

‘I made her a Foehner. Baby we did it!’ he captioned a sweet shot from their special day. 

The beauty shared the same photo with the caption: ‘Officially a Mrs.’ 

‘We wanted a small, intimate wedding with close friends and family,’ Gabby told People ahead of the big day.

‘We can’t wait to have everyone we love under one roof to help send us off into this new season.’ 

While Gabby is from Pennsylvania, they decided Cade’s hometown of Garrison would be the perfect location to marry. 

‘I spent a lot of time [in Texas] this summer with his family — it’s a great place to get off the grid and relax,’ she continued. 

‘The venue is in a neat little private area down some dirt roads, which totally fits our style.’

And it really was a star-studded event with Counting On’s Jinger Duggar’s husband, Jeremy Vuolo, marrying them.  

Gabby got engaged while in Los Angeles back in March after Cade booked a stay at the same hotel they first met while filming the reality singing contest. 

Thinking she was taking part in a mini-photoshoot for a friend’s portfolio – the photographer suggested they take other pictures in the room where they met – where he popped the question.

Announcing their engagement on social media at the time, Ryan Seacrest retweeted their post. 

‘From gold ticket to diamond ring. Congrats @GabbyBarrett_ and @CadeFoehner! #AmericanIdol.’ 

Cade finished fifth in the competition while Gabby placed third.
