She was joined on the morning show with newly appointed Dancing With The Stars winner Adam Rippon.

Maddie was quick to answer ‘no’ when host Michael Strahan asked, ‘Has it sunken in yet?’

‘You know, they kind of adjust you to it,’ she admitted. ‘Ever since Hollywood week … your sleep schedule changes definitely. and I haven’t seen my family for a really long time which is sad but they know this is my dream and this is what they want for me.’

While her family was put on the back burner for a bit so she could pursue her dreams, Maddie did happen to find long-lasting friendships on the show.

‘I made friends on that show who are some of my best friends and I know we’ll be lifelong friends … and I met my boyfriend,’ she said.

Caleb Lee Hutchinson came in second place during the 16th season of the popular singing competition, but is hopeful to make great music with his lady love.

When asked if there are any duets in the future for the two, Caleb was quick to answer, ‘I mean, if she’ll have me. She’s the superstar now.’
