Don McLean has made about $150 million over the course of his 50-year career, and while his 25-year-old girlfriend Paris Dylan wasn’t even alive when his hit song ‘American Pie’ debuted in 1971, she is certainly reaping the benefits of his success.
The 73-year-old singer has been spoiling the former Playboy model, whom he hopes to one day make his third wife, with lavish trips around the world, private jets, and designer clothes.
The jet-setters, who are currently on tour in the UK, are rarely apart, and it’s estimated that McLean has spent a whopping $300,000 on trips in the past year, and they have no plans on slowing down.

‘I have a great girlfriend and she travels everywhere with me,’ he told Daily Mail last month. ‘We went to 85 cities last year and we’ll go to around 85 this year. We go everywhere together and she’s so helpful. She does everything I need, we have a very good situation.’
The two met when she was hired to manage his social media accounts in 2016, and their relationship quickly blossomed.
‘She was a big fan of mine,’ he said, ‘and I fell for her.’
Dylan agreed it was love at first sight, telling Daily Mail: ‘Oh, I liked him for a long time before I met him. About seven or eight years before. My mom listened to him, I loved his music.’
She first posted a photo with the singer on social media in November 2016, saying she was ‘thankful’ for him for Thanksgiving.

McLean’s romance with Dylan came just months after he finalized his divorce to his second wife, Patrisha Shnier, whom he was married to for 29 years and shares two children.
Shnier filed for divorce two months after McLean was arrested for domestic violence on the grounds of ‘adultery, cruel and abusive treatment, and irreconcilable differences.’
McLean had previously been coy about his relationship with Dylan, who is 48 years his junior, but since going public about their love, they have been filling their Instagram pages with photos of them living the high life together.
The two only stay in private suites of luxury hotels, such as the $7,300 per night Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles, according to The Sun.

The couple also reportedly travels first class or leases private jets whenever they go away. Hourly rates for private jets range from $1,200 to $13,000 per flight hour, depending on the type of aircraft.
However, Dylan shared a photo of herself traveling from Los Angeles to Europe on the German airline Lufthansa in September 2018 and appeared to be in business — not first — class. It’s unclear if McLean was the one taking her photo.
Unsurprisingly, McLean and his ladylove also enjoy fine dining, and they were recently seen at La Grenouille in New York City.
The dinner prix fixe menu at the restaurant, which specializes in French cuisine, costs $172 per person, not including wine. An addition of Royal Galilean, Israeli Ostera Caviar costs another $185 per meal.
Before heading to the UK for McLean’s tour, the couple traveled through Italy with stops in Rome, Milan, Florence, and Venice.

During the U.S. leg of the singer’s tour, they stopped at Graceland, Elvis Presley’s home in Memphis, Tennessee.
In the fall, they spent time in Norway, Finland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and France. Dylan couldn’t resist sharing a photo of herself standing with McLean in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris in October, writing: ‘A dream with my love.’
In August 2018, they were hanging out with singer Ed Sheeran in Los Angeles. Dylan filmed Sheeran and her boyfriend singing an acoustic duet of McLean’s hit ‘Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)’ backstage at a charity concert and the video went viral.

It’s unclear what Dylan is working on now that she is no longer modeling, but she has more than 479,000 Instagram followers. She seems to spend her days shopping at designer stores when McLean is rehearsing on tour.

McLean is undoubtedly spending a great deal of money on Dylan, but if a recent interview is any indication of his financial standing, there is nothing to worry about.
While speaking to Market Watch about his $150 million fortune back in March, the singer revealed he hates being in debt and buys everything in cash, even his homes.
‘I bought some properties — at one point I had four homes,’ he said. ‘I sold one and I’m going to sell another and then I’ll have two — one on each coast, that are just incomparable, so I will never sell them. And they’ve gone up a lot.
‘I don’t lend money, and I don’t borrow money,’ he added. ‘That’s another thing. I don’t have any debts.’
Although McLean and Dylan aren’t married yet, he told Daily Mail last month that he wants to make her his third wife and have children with her.
‘We’re not married. Not yet, but I hope to be someday,’ he said. ‘I think that’ll happen.’
