American siblings reported missing in Mexico found safe 612 miles away

Authorities in the northeastern state of Nuevo León launched an Ambert Alert Monday for Hugo Monfort (pictured), 9, and his sister, Aranza Monfort, 16, after the minors left a home in the García neighborhood of Real de San Felipe and failed to return last Friday. María del Carmen López (pictured), who holds dual U.S.-Mexico citizenship, was abducted February 9 from her home in Pueblo Nuevo, a small town in the western state of Colima. The mother-of-seven, who regularly traveled between Colima and Los Angeles, was outside her home when she was taken by force by men who had their faces covered.
